Face Mask with Aspirin – Recipe

Ingredients

– 6 – 12 aspirins

– 1 teaspoon of baking soda

– The juice from one lemon

– 1 cup of water

Preparation

Put the aspirins in a bowl and grind them with the back of your tablespoon. Add the lemon juice and mix until the aspirins are dissolved. Soak a cotton ball in the colution and apply it on your face, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Let it cure for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, let the baking soda dissolve in the cup of water and, after the 10 minutes have passed, you can start cleansing the face, starting with your chin and continuing with your cheeks and forehead. Keep your eyes closed. In the end, you can cleanse your face with cold water. Repeat the procedure 2 times per week.

Effects

The mask made of aspirin, lemon juice and baking soda is an extraordinary home remedy and can cleanse the skin in an instant. When it’s dissolved, the aspirin releases salicylic acid that will help eliminate the pimples and acne through the exfoliation of the dead skin cells. It is also a great anti-bacterial agent and can rejuvenate the skin cells.

The lemon juice is rich in vitamin C and citric acid and it helps minimizing the damages caused by the sun on the skin and reduces the oxidation of the cells. The baking soda is a natural scrubbing agent for the skin. You can use it once a week for a normal skin type or 2 – 3 times per week for an oily skin.

Lemon Juice and Aspirin for Corns

This remedy is extraordinary for the unaesthetic and uncomfortable corns. The aspirin cleanses the skin, the lemon softens it and helps eliminate the dead skin cells with a pumice stone.

Put 5 – 6 aspirins in a bag and crush them with a tablespoon until you get a fine powder. Mix this powder with the juice from one lemon to obtain a thick paste. Apply the paste in a thick layer on the corns and cover it with a plastic foil. Cover the area with a towel and keep it warm for 15 – 20 minutes. At the end, cleanse the area with warm water. Use the damp pumice stone to rub the affected area using circular motions.
