Pour one cup of boiling water over one cup of dried cornflowers, letting the mixture steep for 6 hours. Cover the pot with a lid. After that, strain the liquid and add one tablespoon of freshly-squeezed lemon juice. Soak a piece of cotton-wool in this solution and dab the hair, strand by strand.
Cornflowers for your skin
In order to have a smooth, fresh, hydrated and healthy skin, you can use a mask made of cornflowers, oat and honey. You will need one teaspoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of mashed oatmeal and 2 tablespoons of concentrated cornflowers infusion.
Mix the infusion with the oatmeal, then add the honey and mix thoroughly. Apply the composition on your face and neck and leave it on for 30 minutes. Use lukewarm water to remove the mask.
