We are used to doctors prescribing all sorts of drugs and medication even for a common cold. Not many of them encourage patients to use natural remedies, and not many of them tell you exactly what to do to keep diseases away.
Still, there are some physicians who put the patient in the first place trying to make their lives healthier and happier. So, here are several healthy habits that can help you live longer and healthier.
Look directly into the sun. No, it will not burn your eyes because you will do this right before the sunset or in the first hour after the sunrise. The first day starts with 10 seconds; then prolong the time each day with ten more seconds. It would do even better for your health if you could stand barefoot on the sand or concrete.
- Fluoride-free water
When living in the city, it’s quite hard to have fluoride-free water. Even the bottled one is not 100% fluoride-free. Try to filter the tap water or find a natural spring for your drinking water supply. You should also expose the water to direct sunlight for a couple of hours so that it will absorb solar energy, but don’t leave it outside at night. Keep the water in clear, glass bottles.
- Fresh air
Go to the park each morning and exercise. Take some fresh air by taking a walk for about 20 minutes before bedtime. Do not go to bed later than 2 am. Before 10 pm and 2 am, the body secrets healing hormones during these hours. If possible, try to live according to the rhythm of the sun: wake up when the sun goes up and go to sleep at sunset.
- Avoid artificial products
Eat organic vegetables and fruits, grains or products with artificial sweeteners. Try to cut on the intake of products of animal origin. Do not smoke, do not drink alcohol, do not chew gum, do not drink coffee and do not eat canned food. Use only natural cosmetics, not the chemical laden products.
- Smile and be positive
Speaking or thinking negatively about others will only do you harm. Stay positive and smile. This way, you will stimulate the production of beneficial hormones. Your subconscious is the reflection of your thoughts, so always be happy and optimistic.
- Embrace forgiveness
Filling yourself with anger and hatred will keep your body entrapped in negativity and will affect the secretion of good hormones. The end result will be damaged health for which no treatment will work. Forgive the others, but mostly, forgive yourself.
- Eat raw
Dieticians encourage us to have a raw vegan diet, saying that this is the perfect regimen for good health. Sunlight and fresh produce will give us the energy we need and will keep us away from any diseases.
These healthy habits reflect the way our ancestors lived. Everything was organic, they enjoyed the sunlight and air as much as possible, they drank pure spring water and many of them lived to tell stories to their great-grandchildren.
