Benefits of Drinking One Cup of Warm Water in the Morning

Many people start their day by drinking a hot cup of coffee, chocolate or tea, but not many of us know the wonders a warm cup of water on an empty stomach can do. Usually, we prefer our water ice cold, especially during the summer days when heat waves keep hitting us.


Daily or at least regular warm water consumption improves your digestion and also helps you get rid of your toxins and metabolic waste. Just remember to drink your warm water on an empty stomach. Here is a list of reasons to drink warm water:

  1. I didn’t know that warm water had all those benefits, even though many years ago, I thought it was a good idea to drink warm water. I tried it, but it didn’t taste as good as I imagined. 🙂

  3. It’s my understanding that warm and cold water doesn’t pass through your system until it has become near body temperature. So, I’m not sure how drinking warn water can benefit you.

  5. add lemon juice [not the waxed/sprayed skin] and it helps promote alkinility.x

  6. When I was a child I’d see my grandfather do this every morning. (this was back in the early 1970’s) He was a depression orphan and learned this habit from the Catholic nuns in the orphanage as a child himself. I remember asking about the water and his reasons were almost exactly as described in this article.
