Use Gram Flour to Whiten Your Skin

Did you know that you can use gram flour to get that flawless skin that only celebrities have?

There are many factors that affect our skin, making us look older, tired or even sick. Pollution, poor diet, sun rays or chemicals, they all lead to an uneven skin tone. Many beauty products promise us the perfect skin we want, but unfortunately, the chemicals they contain are extremely harmful.

How to use gram flour to have flawless skin

  • Rose water

Mix two tablespoons of gram flour with four tablespoons of rose water and apply the mixture over your skin. Let it sit for 20 minutes, then wash it off with cold water. Do this procedure 2-3 times a week. You can also replace rose water with milk, honey, water or curd.

  • Cucumber Juice or Lemon Juice

Cucumber closes the open pores, lemon juice lightens the skin, while gram flour removes excess oil.

Mix two tablespoons of cucumber juice and two tablespoons of gram flour, add five drops of lemon juice and stir well. Apply on the skin and leave it on for half an hour. Remove with cold water. You can repeat 3-4 times a week.

  • Milk and Almonds

Almonds contain essential vitamins than nourish the skin, milk lightens it, and gram flour removes dirt.

Soak 5-6 almonds in cold water overnight. Blend them into a paste and add one tablespoon of gram flour and one of milk. Apply on the skin and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

  • Yogurt and Turmeric

Yogurt moisturizes the skin, turmeric makes it glow, and gram flour is an excellent scrub.

Add one tablespoon of yogurt to two tablespoons of gram flour and a pinch of turmeric powder. Apply the mixture on the skin and scrub gently. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse with cold water. You can repeat 2-3 times a week.

  • Fenugreek Seeds

Gram flour and fenugreek seeds can remove blackheads and brighten and lighten the skin.

Take a handful of fenugreek seeds and soak for a few hours. Grind them into a paste and add two tablespoons of gram flour and several drops of lemon juice. Apply over the skin and after 25 minutes rinse off with water.  Repeat 2-3 times a week.

  • Orange Peel

Don’t throw away those orange peels. You can now use them to make your skin glow.

Let them dry and turn them into powder. Mix half a tablespoon of orange peel powder with one tablespoon of gram flour and half a spoon of milk. Apply over the skin and rinse off with lukewarm water after 15 minutes.

Gram flour is perfect for all skin types, but before you use it, make sure you do a patch test to make sure that you are not allergic. Do not apply gram flour paste on wounds, cuts or sprains.
