Burning Sensation in Feet – THYME, TURMERIC and APPLE CIDER VINEGAR remedy
Having a burning sensation in the feet is quite common and it’s a problem that can affect individuals of any age. They can be severe or milder, chronic or acute. This sensation can be triggered by a dysfunction or a damage in the nervous system and it can also be associated with exposure to toxins, chronic alcohol abuse or diabetes.
Other important causes for this health issue can be peripheral vascular disease, a lack of B vitamins, chronic kidney disease, inset bites, injuries, burning feet syndrome, athletes’ foot or lack of calcium or thiamine.
The burning sensation is not the only symptom associated with this condition. Thus, you can also experience dull ache, redness, increased sweating, swelling or change in texture and color of the skin. This entire discomfort can be easily reduced with the help of simple home remedies.

Bitter Gourd
The Ayurveda medicine uses bitter gourd for a wide array of conditions, including the burning sensation in the feet. Basically, all you have to do is to use 3 or 4 tablespoons of bitter gourd leaves and grind them with just a little bit of water so as to obtain a fine paste. Apply this mixture on the burning feet and this sensation will slowly disappear. Repeat daily until you get rid of the symptoms.
Thyme
Thyme is also really efficient in reducing the burning sensations in the feet. This herb will decrease the constricted bloos vessels and will also stimulate the blood circulation. In return, this will make the burning sensation disappear. Thyme also comes with antimicrobial properties and can also be used to treat the athlete’s foot. So, take a handful of thyme and soak it in 2 bowls. Use 2 foot tubs. Fill one of them with cold water and the other with hot water. Pour the water in the bowls together with the soaked thyme in eash tub. First, you must soak your feet in the tub with the hot water. Keep them for about 5 minutes. After that, soak them in the cold water for another 5 minutes. Repeat this process for almost 20 minutes. This remedy must be used once a day.
Apple Cider Vinegar
The good old apple cider vinegar is also useful in this case. It will not only balance the pH level of the organism, but will also reduce the burning feet sensation. Use unfiltered and raw apple cider vinegar (2 tablespoons) and mix it with warm water (one glass). Drink the solution once a day for best results.
Turmeric
Another old remedy that is also good in this case is the turmeric. The curcumin in this plant will improve the circulation and the blood flow in the body. At the same time, the turmeric comes with anti-inflammatory properties and will reduce the pain and the burning sensations in the feet. Mix almost 2 teaspoons of turmeric with warm water (1 glass) and drink this solution. Consume it two times per day. At the same time, you can make a paste with a small amount of water and turmeric (2 tablespoons). Apply the mixture on the affected area for a few minutes. Repeat 2 times per day. This remedy might leave stains on your feet.
