Garlic has some powerful proprieties that help you get rid of this kind of infections: antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial properties.
How to use it: Smash two cloves of garlic and mix them with olive oil, until you have a paste. Apply the paste on the affected area and leave it for 20-30 minutes. After this, rinse it with water. If the affected area is large, you may need more than two cloves.
You can help your body to fight the fungal infection from the inside. It is recommended to use garlic into your food or to swallow 2-3 cloves of garlic with water, without smashing them.
- Apple Cider Vinegar
This is a common natural remedy for fungal infections. Apple cider vinegar has antimicrobial proprieties. Due to these, it is efficient for treating fungal infections, because it can kill the fungus and it can prevent it from spreading.
How to use it: Mix a cup of warm water with a cup of apple cider vinegar. You can use the resulted solution for compresses or you can even soak the affected area in it.
If you don’t have any stomach problems, you may also try to drink two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar dissolved into a glass of water.
- Tree Tea Oil
Essential tree tea oil has wonderful anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial proprieties. All these are helpful if you suffer from a fungal infection. Tree tea oil can help your body in many ways. First of all, its antifungal proprieties are useful for killing the fungus that provokes the infection. Because tree tea oil is antiseptic, the fungus and other microorganism are not allowed to develop. The anti-inflammatory proprieties ease the inflammation and the burning or itchy sensation associated with fungal infections.
How to use it: mix the tree tea oil with olive oil in equal quantities and apply the solution on the affected area. You have to do this about 3-4 times a day. For vaginal fungal infections, you can put 5-7 drops of tree tea oil on a tampon and then insert it in your vagina. Let it there for several hours a day. The treatment will last a few weeks.
