For this recipe you can also use chicken eggs, but the quail eggs are much more beneficial because they are richer in vitamins and minerals. We must also specify that the other types of eggs – goose eggs, duck eggs or those from wild birds must not be used for medicinal treatments.
Quail Eggs and Lemon Maceration: recipe
Whether you use chicken eggs or quail eggs, make sure that they are fresh and that the birds are healthy and untreated with antibiotics, hormones or other chemical substances.
Ingredients
– Raw eggs
– Lemon juice
– 250 ml brandy
– 200 grams honey
– 1 jar (3 liters)
Preparation
For this recipe, you will need a large jar. Wash the eggs with apple cider vinegar and put them in the jar (without breaking the eggshell). Pour the fresh lemon juice over them. Make sure it covers the eggs.
Cover the jar with a lid and leave it for 14 days in a cool place, until the eggshell soaks in the lemon juice. When the eggshells are dissolved, you can open the jar and mix the solution with a wooden spoon, until the small pieces detach.
The next step is to strain the mixture and throw away the eggshells that were not dissolved. Add the honey and the brandy in that liquid.
