Ancient Recipes for a Current Problem: Hair Fall

Hair fall has become one of the major aesthetic problems of our generation. Nature always comes with efficient solutions, but you will need a lot of perseverance and patience to see positive results. The recipes presented below can be prepared at home using simple ingredients.

Ancient Recipes for an Actual Problem – Hair Fall

Many of these remedies are known since the ancient times. More and more women are interested in using old recipes and remedies to care for their skin and hair. This trend is caused by the numerous commercial cosmetic products that are filled with toxic ingredients and, moreover, they are extremely rich and ineffective.

These herbal recipes prevent hair fall and, at the same time, clean the scalp and strengthen and nourish the hair roots. No matter what recipe you choose, you can be sure that your hair will be stronger, more voluminous and shinier and your scalp will be healthier.

Onion Lotion

Even though it has an unpleasant smell, onion is an excellent remedy for hair fall. Mix the juice from 2 onions with 1 teaspoon of honey. Massage the scalp with this mixture, then let it cure for 1 hour. Cleanse and wash your hair with a shampoo.

Rosemary and Olive Oil Lotion

Put 10 tablespoons of dried rosemary in a jar and pour the olive oil over the plants. Make sure the olive oil covers the plants. Let the solution soak for 30 days, and then strain it. With the oil that you have obtained now, you can massage the scalp for 10 minutes. Leave it on for one hour, then wash your hair with a regular shampoo.

Nettle Root Lotion

Put 150 grams of nettle root in a jar and pour 1 liter of apple cider vinegar over it. Put the lid on and let the jar in the sun for 8 days. Stir occasionally. With the solution that you have just obtained, you can rub the scalp on a daily basis, especially in the evening, before going to bed. Another alternative would be to soak 10 tablespoons of crushed nettle root in 1 liter of 70-degree alcohol. Close tightly with a lid and let them soak in the sun for 30 days. Strain and keep the solution in a dark colored bottle. Use this solution 3 times per week.

Nettle, Chamomile and Vinegar Solution

Boil 1 liter of water and add 15 tablespoons of dried and crushed nettle. Turn off the heat, put on the lid and let it infuse for 2 hours. After that, heat the tea without letting it boil and add 5 tablespoons of chamomile. Turn off the heat and let it steep for another 2 hours. Strain and add 300 ml of apple cider vinegar. Use this solution every day.

Sage and Apple Cider Vinegar Lotion

Use an unfiltered and natural apple cider vinegar to help maintain the natural balance of the natural bacteria on the scalp. Mix ½ glass of apple cider vinegar with ½ glass of water. Add 10 drops of sage essential oil. Pour this mixture on your hair and massage the scalp gently. Cover your hair with a towel and leave it on for 30 minutes or more. Cleanse the hair and wash with a shampoo. You can use this treatment daily, but to cleanse the scalp and prevent hair fall, you need a 1-week treatment. Since the apple cider vinegar is acidic, it can dry out the hair. If you have an oily scalp, then this remedy is perfect for you. If you have a dry hair that is or has been dyed or that has been treated with chemical substances, then you can give up on using the vinegar because it can further damage the hair.
