3 Simple and Efficient Remedies Against Wrinkles

How Do Wrinkles Appear

Even though they’re considered to be a natural consequence of the aging process, wrinkles will not always show your actual age. Creases and expression lines will appear when you are young and they will become more and more visible throughout the time because of certain factors:

– Smoking

– Dehydration (not consuming enough water)

– Facial expressions (those who frown or smile often)

– Taking too many medicines

– Exposure to UV rays

– Stress

Anti-Wrinkle Masks – Recipes

When you are young, your skin is extremely flexible and arches immediately when we smile, frown or pull faces. Still, as you get old, the skin loses its elasticity, thus by using your facial muscles you’ll eventually have permanent wrinkles. In this last case, you will need to hydrate your skin much more than usual.

Face Mask with Bread and Oil

This remedy is extremely simple and natural. Take a small piece of white bread and soak it in warm olive oil or melted butter. Apply it on the skin under the eyes and let the oil cure for about 20 – 25 minutes. Don’t cleanse the skin.

Mask with Honey, Oat and Egg

Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of oat flour (ground oat flakes). If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little bit of milk. Apply the paste under your eyes and leave it on no more than 10 minutes. At the end, wash your face with lukewarm water, then with cold water.

Butter with Chamomile and Linden Tea

This recipe that can efficiently combat wrinkles is extremely old, but it also successfully used nowadays. Mix 1 teaspoon of chamomile and 1 teaspoon of linden in a pot and add 100 ml of water. Let the tea boil for 2 – 3 minutes, then cover it with a lid and let it infuse for 15 minutes. Strain the liquid and mix 4 tablespoons of warm tea with 2 tablespoons of butter. Mix until the butter has completely melted. Keep the solution in the fridge for maximum 4 – 5 days. Soak 2 cotton pads in tea and apply them over the eyes in the evening, before going to bed. You don’t need to wash your face afterwards.

No matter what face mask you choose, you can be sure that you will see positive results after just one month. The wrinkles will slowly disappear and will become less visible. Since these masks nourish the skin, your face will look much younger.

If you don’t have enough time to prepare one of these masks, you can simply whisk an egg yolk and apply it around your eyes every day. Let the mask cure for 20 minutes, and then wash it with lukewarm water. Eggs are some of the most nourishing foods for skin and hair, thanks to their high protein content. You can also apply a little bit of honey around your eyes every evening. The results following these remedies will be excellent.
