Going organic has become the new trend and it attracts more and more people, but is it really as healthy as stated? You will stay away from poisonous pesticides and you will be able to prevent cancer and other chronic diseases.
3. Natural Taste
Since it is not grown with pesticides, organic food has a better taste than the traditional food. Its taste is more natural and it comes with a wide array of vitamins and nutrients. The berries and apples are sweeter and the tomatoes are juicier.
4. Better Nutritional Values
Organic products are richer in nutrients than the conventional foods. During organic farming, the benefits and potency of soil are increased and the products will also become healthier.

The small children and even the unborn babies can benefit from organic food. Whatever the mother eats transfers into the placenta and can harm the baby. Another downside about organic food is that it’s quite expensive. The reason for this is that the produce is lower in organic farming and the overhead costs are also much higher as compared to traditional farming.
3. E. Coli Contamination
Even if the organic food is healthier, the contamination by E. Coli is still a threat. A couple of recent studies have proven that when it comes to nutrition and contamination with certain bacteria, organic food is not better than the traditional one.
4. It’s not Easy to Find
Organic food is usually found in large supermarkets, so you may not always find it in all the local stores. This is due to the fact that it spoils rapidly and it may take too much for it to get intact from a faraway farm.
