At a first glance, rosacea doesn’t look any different from a sunburn or acne. This skin condition is caused by the enlargement and the inflammation of blood vessels found in your face. A person who suffers from rosacea will have bumps and red patches on their forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Those who are affected by rosacea might also experience burning sensations and pain in the affected area.
Someone who is affected by rosacea is usually stuck with this condition for life. And that is not where the bad news stops: there is no known cure for rosacea. But don’t worry, that doesn’t mean you will be constantly plagued by the rosacea symptoms. If kept in check, you can have a clear skin for days, weeks, and even years!

- Chilled Green Tea
Just like lavender oil, green tea is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties and the fact that it reduces the outbreak caused by rosacea. Dab some chilled green tea on your skin with a cotton ball every day and also drink green tea regularly to heal the symptoms from within.
This ingredient kills the bacteria and also has antioxidants that reduce the inflammation. It has a soothing effect on the skin, and it helps deal with many other cosmetic problems, such as acne. Just apply it on your face and rinse it off after 20-30 minutes.
- Raw Oatmeal
This provides relief from skin irritations and is known to soothe the skin. Make a thick paste out of ¼ cup of water and ½ cup of raw oatmeal. Apply lightly on your face to avoid further irritation and then rinse off after 20 minutes.
- Turmeric Powder
Turmeric powder also has anti-inflammatory properties, which is why it is one of the best remedies for rosacea. Combine an equal amount of turmeric powder with milk or yogurt and apply on the affected area. Rinse off after a few minutes.
- Aloe Vera Gel and Juice
Aloe Vera gel is rich in vitamin E, an oxidant that helps heal the skin. It also soothes the redness when applied because it has anti-inflammatory properties. You can also detoxify your body by taking daily intakes of Aloe Vera juice (a couple of teaspoons are enough).
