  • Green ramson leaves

The juice can be obtained in two ways:

  • Maceration

You grab a handful of green plants (about 50 g) and finely chop them. You add them in a glass container and pour 100 ml of cold water over it. You seal the lid and let it macerate for 10 hours before pouring the content through a piece of gauze and strain it. The juice will be consumed right away, preferably in the morning before you have eaten anything.

  • Mixed in the blender

The green plants, freshly washed, will be finely chopped and added in your blender together with 100 ml of water. You blend them for about 5 minutes and then you strain the solution, drinking the remaining juice.

You need to be wary of the fact the chlorophyll juice cannot be followed by someone suffering of thrombosis or who has undergone coronary bypass surgeries. The juices can’t be left to sit after the preparation either because they will oxidize right away. For this reason, it is recommended that you consume them immediately. Chlorophyll can color your urine and stool into green, along with your tongue, so do not worry if you notice odd colors like these.
